Since graduating, Kate regularly gives recitals all over the country, including venues such as the Fairfield Halls and St James' Piccadilly including Mozart's Flute & Harp concerto in London, Birmingham and Glasgow with various orchestras and Handel's Harp Concerto with the Croydon Symphony Orchestra. Kate won the UK Harp Association Prize and the Croydon Music Festival Concerto Prize in 2001.
Kate is a busy chamber and orchestral musican. She works with orchestras such as the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra in Norway and the Ulster Orchestra for radio broadcasts, CD recordings and live performances at the Royal Festival Hall, the Barbican Centre, the Lighthouse in Poole and the Waterfront Hall in Belfast.
As a session musician, Kate backed the pop band 'McFly' on an electric harp for their debut Arena tour (and DVD) of the UK and Ireland, playing to over 200,000 people in 2005. She has also performed on 'Strictly Come Dancing' with Katherine Jenkins and Andrea Bocelli.
During her final year at Trinity College of Music, Kate co-founded the Aurora Duo, a highly successful flute & harp ensemble. They have since performed internationally for concerts and competitions to high acclaim.
