Performing as the group Alap we provide the perfect backing to your wedding or social function. We offer a traditional combination of 3 instruments which are:
Sitar; the most well known Indian classical instrument.
Tabla; small Indian hand drums.
Tampura; similar in size and shape to a Sitar but with only 4 strings This instrument provides the traditional 'drone' of Indian classical music.

These prices include travel expenses within the Midlands area and a performance time of 2 hours maximum and 30-45 minutes set-up time.
We supply our own PA system (either 150 or 300 Watt depending on room size), mixing desk and microphones when required. Supply of this equipment is included in the price.
We always wear traditional Indian clothing and bring our own floor coverings and cushions.
